Jennifer is the founder and principal of JL-S Consulting, a social justice consulting firm dedicated to partnering with leaders and organizations to advance their mission while embedding equity in their organizational cultures, policies, and practices.

 

A social justice advocate, Jennifer draws upon her 25 years of nonprofit and philanthropic leadership to advance gender, economic and racial justice. She is a strategist, facilitator, and expert on women's philanthropy. She brings a lifelong commitment to learning and belives in meeting people where they are to guide them through a learning journey that will facilitate true and long-lasting change.

She is dedicated to pursuing a more liberated model of fundraising and philanthropy that challenges the current system and centers the principles of women’s philanthropy and is a proud member of the Women’s Philanthropy Alliance.

 

She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, two daughters, and her labradoodle Oshie. An avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, you can often find Jennifer running, hiking, kayaking, and generally pursuing outdoor adventure!
